Bayer- Rama Naidu Vignana Jyothi School of Agriculture conducts convocation sponsered by Bayer Crop Science twice in the Year after completion of the January-June and July-December batches of Vocational Training during July and January respectively. The successful trainees are presented with certificates and medals in the convocation. During the training programme three best trainees i.e.

• The best trainee in Crop Production with excellent skills in Agricultural technologies and field work
• The best trainee in Performance with highest percentage of marks in the final examinations
• The best trainee in regular attendance with highest percentage of attendance

are selected and awarded with best trainee certificates with a special medal in the convocation.

The institute conducts Annual day Celebrations every year and presents prizes and certificates for the winners / runners of intra mural games, sports, literary and cultural competitions conducted during the II Semester of the Academic year. For the Diploma Courses four gold medals are instituted for the toppers in the three Diplomas and overall topper in the three diplomas offered by Dr. D. Rama Naidu Vignana Jyothi Institute of Rural Development. The gold medals instituted are

• The Surapaneni Subba Rao Memorial Super Gold Medal instituted by Sri SSR Koteshwara Rao , Treasurer ,Vignana Jyothi in memory of his father Late Surapaneni Subba Rao garu for the student who secured the highest OGPA among the students of the three diplomas offered by DRNVJIRD.
• The Puchakayala Arjuna Rao Gold Medal instituted by Dr.P.Arjuna Rao ,Director, DRNVJIRD for the topper in the II Year Diploma in Agriculture who secured the highest OGPA.
• The Sri Valluru Venkata Subbaiah Memorial Gold Medal instituted by Sri.Kode Durga Prasad ,IPS ,Joint Secretary, Vignana Jyothi in memory of his grandfather Sri Valluru Venkata Subbaiah garu for the topper in the II Year Diploma in Seed Technology who secured the highest OGPA.
• The Anugu Indrasena Reddy Memorial Gold Medal instituted by Dr.Karthik Reddy in memory of his father late Anugu Indrasena Reddy for the topper in the III Year Diploma in Agricultural Engineering who secured the highest OGPA.

The above gold medals are presented every year during the Annual day celebrations of the institute for the batches completed during the previous year.
